DIRECT VENT FIREPLACES
Direct vent fireplaces can be vented outdoors horizontally, vertically, or both. The device used is a double, or coaxial pipe exiting out of an exterior wall or roof. This technology allows for the pipe connected to a completely enclosed chamber to bring in fresh air for combustion, and using gravity, drawing out the gas and fumes. The air tight glass chamber around the firebox prevents noxious gas from escaping allows radiant heat to efficiently and effectively heat it. They provide heat instantly at the push of a button. They are easy to operate and convenient. Their cost-effectiveness ensures their ongoing popularity.
