Smoky Grilled Salmon and Asparagus

4 salmon fillets, skin-on
1 pound asparagus

Instructions:
Soak the wood chips in water for at least 30 minutes before grilling.
Preheat your grill to 225°F (107°C) using indirect heat. If using a gas grill, light the burners on one side of the grill only. If using a charcoal grill, pile the charcoal on one side of the grill.
In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to make a dry rub.
Rinse the salmon fillets under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Season both sides of the salmon fillets generously with the dry rub.
